It is with great excitement that the organising committee for the 2025 ESAU congress announces the dates for this year’s congress, to be held at the Future Africa campus in Hatfield, Pretoria.
The congress will be held from 25 to 28 September 2025, and it promises to be the South African Urological event of the year.
As part of our aim to focus on local expertise from the Southern African region, we are inviting speakers from local universities to share their expertise in various fields, including Uro-oncology, urogynaecology, laparoscopy, paediatric urology, laser management of BPH, and reconstructive urology/andrology. We will also be hosting various workshops, including:
Cadaver workshops for penile prostheses/female continence surgery
Laparoscopy workshops on live animals
Laser management of BPH
Uro-oncology workshop on advanced and metastatic prostate cancer
We will also include some ‘non-traditional’ topics – not usually discussed, including: practice management/billing skills, streamlining patient management, ethical dilemmas in Urology. We will also be having a Urological quiz night, which undoubtedly will be very entertaining.
We look forward to seeing you at what promises to be a great meeting, with an excellent balance of learning, healthy discussion and debate, as well as the necessary enjoyment of seeing familiar faces.
